Healing your Past Lives: The Soul’s Unfinished Business
Most of us would like to live forever with full vigor, without wrinkles, gray hair, or disease. Most of us seldom think about death and what happens afterwards. Some say that death is the end of everything. Some believe in heaven and hell. Still others believe that this life is only one of many we have lived and will live in the future.
As a certified teacher and practitioner of Spiritual Response Therapy for over 13 years, I have learned many of our blocked feelings and deeper issues can be released by rebalancing and healing past lives. Carl Jung, one of the greatest modern psychologists, used the concept of an eternal self that undergoes many births as a tool in his attempts to understand the mysteries of the self and consciousness. In his clairvoyant work, Edgar Cayce, a Christian mystic, suggests that each of us writes the story of our lives through our thoughts, our deeds and our interactions with the rest of creation. The Akashic Records (The Book of Life) contain the history of every soul since the beginning of creation. These records connect each of us to each another.
Many people carry patterns of guilt, fear and worry. Many have unexplained fear of fires, drowning, animals, crowds, airplane trips, and enclosed spaces, for example. Clinically, these fear patterns are labeled “phobias” or “anxiety disorders,” yet there is no known cause or reason from present life experiences. Problems like depression, erratic phobias, and compulsive behavior may come from unresolved patterns from past lives, which are deeply embedded in our psychic history and can cause physical and emotional problems in our present lives.
The Power of Subconscious programs
Our subconscious mind constantly monitors and records our thoughts, words and experiences. Once you give the subconscious mind a message, it never lets go of the memory until you deliberately tell it to release it much like a computer. The subconscious mind is like a computer bank, filled with experiences and ideas from past and present lives. The subconscious mind of an individual is the primary source of information in accessing past lives experienced by each soul.
There are many times we have asked ourselves certain questions: What is wrong with me? Why can’t I do what I want to do? Why can’t I succeed? Why nothing ever seems to work for me? What makes me act like that? Why isn’t my hard work paying off? Why aren’t my relationships working? Will I ever be happy? The answers to these questions lie in the depth of the subconscious mind. Every experience of sight, sound, taste, touch, smell, thought and feeling is recorded in the subconscious mind.
It is important to remember that it is not what happens to you in any life that creates negative patterns, it is the discordant or negative energy you attach to the event that creates the negative programming or patterns in this life. This accumulation of emotional energy we carry in our subconscious from lifetime to lifetime forms our beliefs, perceptions and judgments in the present life.
For example: Living in poverty in a past life may block your prosperity in this life because of the strong emotionally charged vows of poverty you took during that lifetime. If a single fall out of a small boat makes a person nervous around water, imagine what fifty lifetimes of death by drowning does to the subconscious. Traumas like the loss of love, possessions lost in a upheaval or war, suffering imprisonment, being orphaned as a child, dying of starvation, invasion, rape, and enslavement deeply disturb the equilibrium of the soul, create deep and bitter scars in the energy of the soul that carry over from lifetime to lifetime and create patterns of suffering in subsequent lifetimes.
Many people know that things do not seem to work out in a positive way for them. But few realize that there may be deep-seeded beliefs, patterns and programs held in the subconscious mind from other lives that are blocking their greater good. You may want prosperity, but deep down may not feel worthy of success. Couples want rewarding relationships, but continue to attract relationships that are in conflict. Many individuals want better health but don’t know how to achieve it. The reasons for these blocks often come from the subconscious mind and the energy of the soul itself.
Healing your past lives with Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT)
As a spiritual being, you already possess the two qualities you need to heal deeply – connection to SPIRIT and your own intuition. While we are always receiving guidance from spiritual realms, we are not always aware of it. SRT is a meticulous method that researches the subconscious mind and soul records to discover and release the discordant energies, limiting programs and hidden blocks to health, relationships, happiness, prosperity and spiritual growth.
Using a pendulum, a set of charts and working with one’s Spiritual Committees, the SRT practitioner will research past life experiences and identify negative programs affecting the client. Once programs are identified, discordant energies associated with these negative programs are researched and cleared. Then the practitioner will reprogram the subconscious mind with positive messages to bring about positive and lasting change. Sometimes conscious mind work may be necessary to release the limiting programming from the past. Practitioner may use tools like affirmations, clearing and releasing statements, meditations, and other clearing processes to facilitate greater transformation. SRT provides an exciting, powerful, virtually painless and accurate way of changing the landscape of our inner and outer lives.
